USPS Raised Prices Again in January
The USPS raised prices again, but Atlas International Mail has alternatives in place to save our customers money and bypass the USPS altogether. Additionally, the USPS will no longer send First-Class Mail International Service for Flats containing merchandise, but again Atlas has solutions in place for our customers. The price of a stamp is only increasing by a penny, but the USPS’s international services are increasing by an average of almost 4%. While the average increase is only about 2%, it comes after multiple rate increases in 2017. These increases are bringing USPS prices closer to those of their UPS and FedEx competitors. As always, Atlas International Mail has strategies in place to help our customers save money and avoid the USPS raised prices.
Strong Global Growth Expected in 2018
According to Chief Economists the global economy will grow nearly 4% over the next two years. Much of the expected growth is due to the recent U.S. tax code changes. This should lead to increased investment in the U.S. and more trade and spending with our largest trading partners. Canada and Mexico are also expected to benefit greatly from the changes. Mail to Canada has already seen a spike in early January with many U.S. companies looking to rapidly increase business in Canada.

“I worked with Bill D. to ship a large order of books to a mission in Papua, New Guinea from New Hampshire. Bill was very helpful in getting us the best price. The prices he quoted was better than all the other companies that I had contacted prior to working with Atlas International Mail, Inc. Bill D. represented his company well with his patience in answering the many questions I had, as well as his assistance along the way. He also was quick to respond with any emails. Since we were shipping to a far off country. We remained in contact until the books arrived. Bill gave us the updated tracking of the order. The company kept us informed until the package arrived. I would recommend this company again. As a matter of fact I will be calling them soon to place another order. It was a good experience! Fr. M. was so happy to receive the books for his missionary library. We appreciated the help we received from Atlas. Thank you, *********************, NH” Jeannine L .
