The ability to trace and track can vary depending on the service and destination. ePacket service is available to 36 countries, and it’s ideal for eCommerce packages weighing less than 4.4 pounds.
ePackets offer full USPS tracking and delivery confirmation, and you also get free returns on undeliverable items.
Delivery time averages 4 – 7 days.
Canada Post Expedited Parcel
Canada Post Expedited Parcel provides direct entry into the Canadian postal system, and offers Canada Post track. Also Canada Post Expedited Parcel provides guaranteed delivery times and liability coverage up to $100 included.
The maximum weight per piece is 60lbs, and delivery time averages 3 days for regional delivery & up to 7 days for national delivery.
PMEI – Priority Mail Express International
Priority Mail Express International is available to over 180 Countries, and it offers USPS Tracking. The service is ideal for fast delivery of heavier parcels, and is also a fast option for small parcels where ePacket service is unavailable. This is one of the most expensive services from the USPS.
PMEI is available for mail pieces weighing up to 70lbs, and it also provides fast delivery times of 2 – 5 days.
PMI – Priority Mail International
Similar to PMEI, Priority Mail International is available to over 180 Countries, and it also come with USPS tracking. The service is less expensive than the express option, and it is a good alternative for delivery of heavier parcels. Also, like PMEI it’s an affordable alternative for small parcels where ePacket service is unavailable.
PMI is available for mail pieces weighing up to 70lbs, and it also offers 6 – 10 day delivery time.
PLI – Priority Lettermail International
Priority Lettermail International is available to 180+ countries. The service uses a combination of first class mail and priority standard mail through a variety of different postal systems across the globe. The service is best for postcards and letters to Europe and Asia, and also an affordable alternative to the USPS’s IPA and ISAL services. Lettermail doesn’t use tracking, and Delivery time is 7-14 days.
IDE –International Direct Entry
Similar to PLI, International Direct Entry is deposited into major foreign postal hubs. It is another more affordable alternative to USPS ISAL and IPA services, and it also benefits from having a local flair. The service offers incredible savings, but also like PLI it does not offer UP tracking. Delivery speed averages 7-14 days.
PSI – Priority Standard International
Priority Standard International is available in Europe, Asia, Australia & South America. It’s great for marketers and advertisers using direct mail, and also is often much more cost effective than other international services. Mail is delivered through a variety of different International direct mail entry hubs, and as a result it does not offer track and trace. Delivery speed is 5-14 days depending on the destination.
ISAL – International Surface Airlift
International Surface Airlift also known as ISAL is available to 127 countries. It is a wholesale USPS commercial service for volume mailings of First-Class Mail international postcards, letters, large envelopes, and small packets. All mail items have a US return address, and because of this any undeliverable items are returned free of charge. Similar to direct entry services it does not offer USPS postal tracking. Delivery speed averages 7-14 days.
IPA – International Priority Airmail
International Priority Airmail also known as IPA is available worldwide with 19 different price groups. IPA shipments are flown to foreign destinations and entered into that country’s air or surface priority mail system. Tracking is not available, but mail pieces have a US return address and undeliverable items are returned free of charge. Delivery speed is quick and averages 3–7 business days.
